Deceased - Blue Mountain Smart Lil' Pep

‘Blue Mountain Smart Lil Pep’ is an iridescent gold buckskin stud. Affectionately known as 'Leo', his Sire, ‘Smart Little Scotty’ is an Imported American Quarter horse and was bred with the outstanding mare ‘Winderadeen Little Mendigal’ (Quarter Horse) to produce ‘Leo’, a stud with exceptional conformation, willingness to please and perform both in the saddle and on the ground, not to mention a fantastic temperament. He has passed all of these traits onto every one of his offspring so far.
His dam,‘Winderadeen Little Mendigal’, has breeding which speaks for itself;
Sire- ‘Little Peppy Doc’ (IMP) and
Dam- ‘Picosa Mendiga’ (IMP)
Both these horses are well known for their athletic ability and their successful contributions to the performance horse industry.
Leo was injured as a two year old and unfortunately this injury forced him into having a long spell, but he is now well on his way back into a serious reining training regime and assisting with cattle work here at Blue Mountain Paints and Quarter Horses.
Leo has attained the incredible athletic abilities and cow sense passed on throughout his bloodlines and continues to contribute these valuable genes to successful performance horses of the future, with offspring suitable for both English and western disciplines.
