“Tuppence” is a 15.2hh red chestnut overo paint gelding born in 2006.Before being sold to Laura and Frances Bear in QLD, he attained a strong show career in Hacking and Show Hunter classes.
Laura now uses him as the versatile all rounder that he was bred to be. She competes him in most disciplines including reining, Hunter Under Saddle, Western Trail, Western Pleasure, Western Equitation and many more.
The Bear family attended the 2013 national championship show and went home national champion western pleasure and trail horse, reserve national champion English equitation horse along with many other placings under their belts. Congratulations Laura, Frances and Tuppy! This was an enormous achievement since Tuppy had been trained in the western disciplines by Frances Bear for only 12 months.
